My work is not about manifest reality, it's about fantasy. With all the tools I have available, from lighting and makeup to digital imaging, I can make anything real. I am inspired by Fairytales, myths, vampires, gods and goddesses, and the entire gamut of imaginary creatures. With the addition of computer technology, I have total creative freedom. It's as though I can take a photograph of my dreams.

I consider all the technology I have at my fingertips as a means to an end. I want the viewer to be aware of nothing except the image I create. I have no bias towards any particular technique; the only thing that counts is whether or not it helps make real my mental picture. From start to finish I control and manipulate the entire process to achieve precisely the result I require. Nothing in my artwork is left to chance.
