After discovering an ancient field guide detailing how fairies can be lured out of hiding, visionary photographer Suza Scalora set off on a year long expedition around the globe to photograph and catalogue every fairy she could find. THE FAIRIES is the breathtaking result of her quest- the first photographic and textual evidence of the exisitence of another magical world.

Sixteen fairies are captured in full, vibrant color along with journal entries detailing Scalora’s epic journey. Rare and never-before documented information is provided in each entry including: sighting dates, the lures used and a history of each fairy. Unlike illustrated fairy books of the past, one look at these photographs will make a believer out of anyone. You may have seen one yourself.

Suza Scalora is a commercial photographer who has been fascinated by fairy lore as long as she can remember. She began her research while working in New York. The site www.myth.com will post updates on Scalora’s activities.
